Cloud Server

A cloud server is a virtual server running in a cloud computing environment. That is why very often Cloud Servers are referred to as Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS). While it is true that every cloud server can be called a virtual dedicated server, the opposite is not always true. This is because a virtual dedicated server can be placed only on a single hardware server and thus suffer from a single point of failure when any of its hardware fails.

It is built, hosted and delivered in cloud computing platform via the internet, and can be accessed remotely. Cloud Server gives webmasters the freedom to increase the amount of storage, processing power and RAM via sliders while benefitting from uninterrupted access and full functionality at all times. Cloud servers have all the software they require to run and can function as independent units. It offers the advantages of increased accessibility and reliability, seamless scalability and potential cost savings, as customers are freed from having to invest in on- premises servers and hardware, and they pay only for the resources they consume.
